The CHW pathway is perfect for BATA students because they crave entry into high-demand health careers. Many are already "de facto CHWs," helping family and community members get their needs met through city and state agencies. The CHW Pathway is aimed towards CHW certification, including enhancements meant to bring the content to life for our students and develop them in the most challenging aspects of the profession.

All CHW competencies are developed to a basic level of proficiency. Students at every ELD level have access to this pathway, which aligns with BATA’s vision of helping students achieve postsecondary success.
