    Monica Hogan

    Assistant Superintendent for Data Strategy and Implementation

    Monica Hogan serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Data Strategy and Implementation at Boston Public Schools. In this role, she and her team are responsible for the implementation of the Systemic Improvement Plan, which includes working across departments to ensure systems and structures are in place for strong collaboration and implementation. Previously, Monica served as the Senior Executive Director of the Office of Data and Accountability (ODA) at BPS for two years. She led a team of 25 employees, whose mission is to serve the BPS community by facilitating access to quality information and building capacity to make data-driven decisions that advance educational equity, opportunity, and achievement for all students. Monica joined BPS in 2014 and has served ODA as an Analyst, Senior Analyst and the Director of Analytics.

    Monica holds an MBA and MSW from Boston College and a BA from the University of South Carolina. She is a Strategic Data Project Fellow Alumna, a program of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University and participated in the Education Policy Fellowship Program through the Institute for Educational Leadership.
