    About Us:

The MGH/Timilty Science Fair Mentoring Program allows select 7th and 8th grade Timilty Middle School students to work with MGH mentors on science fair projects from concept to completion: deciding on a question that could be answered through scientific investigation, setting up experiments, documenting observations, collecting and analyzing data and preparing oral presentations to defend their investigation.  Students visit the hospital every other week from October through January to work with their mentors on their projects before competing in the annual Timilty Science Fair.  There is also a career exploration initiative for select graduating eighth graders that provides paid summer internships at MGH during which they participate in Summer Fit, a health, wellness and fitness curriculum.
